All Work will be performed free of charge upon my acceptance

I have long found it beyond reason that the average man is unable to access the restoration services available to the rich. For this reason I have launched this website.  Because advertising is costly and passing the cost on to the consumer forces the price upwards I will rely on word of mouth to promote this site.  For this  reason I make this unusual offer, on my approval, I will restore one photo free of charge.  This transaction  will, preferably, be conducted by email and electronic transfer.  Paying for the printing will solely be your responsibility.  There are on line services such as Walgreens, Wal-mart, CVS and a number of other services that charge as little as $3.00 for an 8x10 color photo making this a very attractive offer. At your suggestion I will send your photo to the printer for you to pick up.  To my knowledge, this service is never available for less than $35.00 from other repair services and the price rises sharply from the base cost. I charge by the hour with a beginning rate of Ten Dollars an hour and 90% of the photos take less than an hour. My minimum is one hour.   A very simple way to do this is to pick a printer near your home and give me their web address or location and name so I can locate them.  I repair the photo, send it to the printer in your name and you can usually pick the picture up in one hour.

In the event that you need your photo printed by me there will be a charge of $10.00 minmum for printing plus shipping and handling charges.

If you require the picture to be placed on CD, there will be a $3.00 charge for the CD plus shipping and handling.
Jeff-Original   Jeff-Repaired

This is a photo of Jeff Mill's (used with his permission) taken in the 1970's in Bahrain and as so often happens today, age took it's toll.  Jeff, being a missionary, presently in Guatamala, has had ocassion to pack and abuse his memories from time to time.

I first rotated the photo one degree to the left and then began the process of regenerating the missing portions.  Then I removed the scratch and fold marks and reconstructed the pealing surfaces.  I colorized Jeff to make him stand out from the background.

The Photo above was taken with a cell phone and just did no justice to the young Irish gentleman.

I bent the curve, lightening the overall color and contrast and I Air Brushed the skin to get rid of the black eyes and to bring out his skin tone.

Ripped and repaired photo
I scanned this ripped photo and reassembled it on the computer.
Then I deepened the skin tone, lightened the t-shirt and darkened the collar.
